What is Meditation and Mindfulness?

new_brainMeditation and mindfulness is ancient wisdom fused with modern research which re-wires your brain for the good.

Training your brain to be calmer and more resilient is not so different from training your muscles at the gym.

It teaches you to be less reactive to things that used to upset you, which promotes greater clarity of thought, better decision-making as well as empathy, compassion and self-compassion.  This means you become more present, peaceful and effective, on an enduring basis.

Who Should Attend

These weekly classes are designed for anyone wanting to enrich their lives, whose busy monkey-like mind has a habit of running the show in a not-so-helpful way… If you want to learn how to calm your mind…. Ahhhhh….. and live with more wellbeing – then these sessions are for you!

Fee: Fee for all sessions is $15 (or $10 children & teens – yes they are very welcome too!)
This includes your personal meditation recording for practicing at home.

What if I can’t make it every week?
That’s just fine, we understand life is busy and there’s lots to juggle! These are regular weekly classes, so why not come along to try it, (and if you love it, which we think you will) then you can simply join as you’re able to week by week.

What do I need to bring?
Just yourself.  We have comfy couches, chairs and cushions for you to relax in, and herbal teas to enjoy while you’re here.  So sit back, take a deep breath… and prepare to melt into the mindfulness zone :)
